Please read before booking

We’re glad you’re considering Coconut Palm Home for your family trip to Hengchun / Kenting. A few minutes spent reading the policy below will save everyone hassle later on.

1. Space & Facilities

The B&B has five en-suite rooms, each with private bathroom, air conditioning and TV. Linen is fully washed and the room thoroughly cleaned after every checkout, to a standard comparable with a professional hotel.

Outdoors you’ll find 2,000+ pings (~6,600 m²) of coconut grove, a kids’ splash pool, a slide and swings playset, a basketball hoop, a lotus pond and wide lawns; indoors there is a children’s play corner.

There is no curfew — feel free to stargaze or take an evening walk.

2. Pricing (4-guest standard)

Weekday vs. holiday definition:

• Weekday: Sunday – Friday
• Holiday: Saturday + Jul/Aug Sun–Fri + long weekends
• Premium: Jul/Aug Saturdays + long-weekend Saturdays
• Day classification may be adjusted on site at the host’s discretion.

3. Booking Process & Deposit

• Instant online booking: tap the “Book Now” / “Book online” button on any page to open our online booking system, where you can pick dates, check availability and rates, and confirm instantly.
• Direct booking via LINE / phone: message the host on LINE (ID: maych28) or call us with your check-in dates and party size, and the host will reply with availability and the total price, with more flexible rates and arrangements. We ask for a deposit: confirm dates and price with the host → receive deposit amount and bank account → wire transfer and reply with the last five digits of your account → booking is confirmed once we see the transfer. Deposit is up to 30% of the total room price (up to 50% for three-day-plus long weekends).

4. Cancellation & Refund (direct LINE / phone bookings)

Typhoon / natural disaster waiver: if Pingtung County government announces a typhoon work/school closure for your check-in date, your deposit is fully refundable or can be held for a future stay — your choice.

For bookings completed through the online booking system, cancellation and refunds follow that system’s and the B&B’s stated rules.

5. Guest Count, Extra Persons & Extra Bedding

Please stay only with the agreed number of guests and do not exceed the room’s maximum occupancy; if there is any dispute, the host reserves the right to refuse the stay. Children under 3 years old do not count as occupying a bed (free). Extra adults above the standard 4 must be declared in advance — NT$800 per extra person (includes breakfast and amenities). Undeclared extra guests on the day may be refused entry and treated as a same-day cancellation.

Within the permitted guest count, extra bedding is available for a laundry/cleaning fee: NT$200 per duvet, NT$100 per pillow. Please request it before 20:00; we cannot provide it after that.

6. Check-in / Check-out

Check-in: from 15:00 / Check-out: by 11:00. Early arrivals are welcome to drop off luggage; if you’ll arrive after 18:00, please LINE us in advance. Late check-out is charged NT$300 per extra half hour.

7. Pet Policy

No pets accepted. Undeclared guests arriving with pets may be refused entry, and the deposit will not be refunded.

8. Breakfast

We serve a freshly made breakfast daily (a Taiwanese rice porridge option and a Western plate), served 08:00–09:00. Please arrange your breakfast time with the host on the day of check-in; let us know at the time of booking if you’d like a vegetarian option. The NT$800 extra-person fee already includes breakfast.

9. Amenities & Eco Policy

• To help save energy, please switch off the air conditioning and any unnecessary power when you go out.
• We do not provide disposable toiletries (e.g. toothbrush, comb). We provide bath towels, shampoo, body wash and a hairdryer — please bring your own as needed.
• In-room bath towels are for indoor use only. Please do not take them to the beach; towels taken off the premises are considered purchased.

10. Consecutive Nights

For consecutive-night stays, we do not change bed linen, sheets, pillows or bath towels between days. Thank you for understanding.

11. Valuables & Room Key

• Please keep your valuables with you; the B&B is not responsible for lost items.
• Please look after your room key when out — a lost key incurs a NT$500 handling fee.

12. Quiet Hours & Room Condition

• The neighbourhood is quiet — please keep noise down after 22:00 and avoid disturbing other guests.
• If in-room facilities are damaged during your stay, the host reserves the right to claim compensation.

13. Host Hours

Daily 09:00–22:00. For non-emergencies, please message us on LINE during these hours.

14. Indoor Smoking

The entire B&B is non-smoking (rooms, living area and bathrooms, including e-cigarettes); please use the designated outdoor area. Violations may be fined up to NT$10,000 under local law, plus cleaning costs.
