Made fresh each morning by the host: savoury Taiwanese rice porridge with fritters, or a Western plate with bread, eggs and fruit — much of the veg grown organically in her own garden. Eat at your own pace.

Coconut Palm Home is our first choice every time we come to Kenting. A family-friendly B&B with spacious, clean rooms, and the wide outdoor grounds are perfect for letting the kids run around and burn off energy.
One of my personal favourites — quiet, with plenty of room for the children to run and play. The host is kind and gentle, and often shared stories about Hengchun with us; we learned a great deal.
Large outdoor grounds and a wonderful natural setting — we even spotted hummingbirds! There is an outdoor balcony; I would recommend coming in autumn, when you can sit out in the breeze. Breakfast is made fresh by the host — tasty and nourishing.
Beautiful surroundings, with wide open space where the children can play outside safely. The rooms genuinely feel like home — simply furnished, yet warm.
We travelled as a group of 15 with family and friends and took all five rooms; the whole stay was thoroughly satisfying. The setting is quiet and secluded, away from the noise of town — you feel the calm the moment you arrive.
We had two babies with us, so the host let us into the room early to rest and had even turned the air conditioning on ahead of time — genuinely thoughtful. Breakfast is made by hand by the host and it is delicious. The grounds are spacious and clean, and the whole family is very kind.
